to have my body sink down

in the tumultuous quicksand
of human flesh.
i have never been so moved
as by your touch, the slinking seeping
brush. the universe dispels

i am less alone
than i have ever been.

it was good enough or

Max had waited for this moment since the day he’d been first activated. So what if the Council had subsequently determined that his model was too unstable for actual combat and repurposed them as crossing guards. cut me slack, i can't remember the last time i wrote a poem. i should be working on NaNoWriMo but my head is currently broken.

I rarely read poems here on DA, especially since English isn't my mother language. But I have to say I really like yours, the words have a beautiful harmony when reading them out loud.
